Sandra Yap

Sandra is the Program Manager at the Center for Asia Leadership. With over 7 years in public, private and nonprofit sectors, she has experience in program management, event management, communication, and multi-stakeholder partnerships. Prior to joining the center, she worked at the German Embassy in Kuala Lumpur as the political, press and culture officer and represented the Embassy in organizing over 40 cultural and human rights programs and events with the partners such as European Union, Goethe Institut, NGOs, and other institutions. Sandra was a scholar of ASEAN-CU and holds a Master’s degree in Southeast Asian Studies at Chulalongkorn University and a Bachelor’s degree from University Malaya.
